June 4: Ford Hacks His Way Out Of Garage
On this day in history...
in 1876 first American transcontinental express crosses the country in 84 hours.
In 1919 the 19th amendment, which guarantees women the right to vote, passes congress.
The Battle of Midway begins in 1942.
Also On This Day...
Ford test drives his first car through the streets of Detroit in 1898. Having just completed the car, it is discovered the garage housing it is too big. To free the car axes, are used on the garage.
