May 27: Chicago Worlds Fair

On this day in history...

the Battle of Tsushima Strait in 1905 consolidates Japan's ascendancy over Imperial Russia. After producing 15 million Model T cars the production ends in 1927 to be replaced by the Model A. The German battleship Bismarck is sunk in 1941.


And Also On This Day...

Chicago World's Fair opens in 1933. It is so successful that it is reopened the following year.
