June 14: Navigating 7000km With Only Pocket Watch Sextant

Also On This Day...
Captain William Bligh land in Timor in 1789. He and 18 crew member were cast adrift in an open boat after the Mutiny on the Bounty. Utilizing nothing but a pocket watch and sextant Bligh navigates the boat to Timor, a journey of over 7000 kilometers taking 47 days.
