Lafayette arrives in South Carolina in 1777 to join General Washington.
The Supreme Court establishes the Miranda Warning in 1966.

Wat Tyler leads English peasants into London in 1381 after Richard II refuses to meet. London is plundered and burned. The next day Richard makes several concessions and agrees to end serfdom. On the 15th of June while meeting with Richard, Wat Tyler is killed by the mayor of London. In a stunning turn about the King calms the crowd by declaring that he is now head of their movement. He orders them home and later has all the leaders killed.
